  • Pretty sure that is not the case. People have been getting in fights since the beginning of time. It does not give someone the right to kill someone because they broke your nose.

  • Zimmerman was no model citizen. He had been arrested several times himself. In the end, this should be decided by a jury, not the police, not the people on this discussion board. If Zimmerman is innocent, let it be proved in a court of law. He killed someone and should stand trial for it.

  • There is no proof other than his word how he was injured and again, had he not left his vehicle to confront the suspect (as advised by the police dispatcher) an altercation would not have occurred.

  • While I do believe that this country is far more racist than I originally thought, lets take the race card out of this for a minute and look at what we know: 1. Zimmerman lives in a community that has had a number of recent break-ins. To my knowledge, no one has been hurt in these crimes.
